Sunshine Coast Health Centre (SCHC) and Georgia Strait Women's Clinic (GSWC) are an ever-growing organization currently with 34 inpatient beds for men and 10 for women receiving treatment for addictions, mental health, and trauma. SCHC/GSWC values being a part of a growing wave of progressive, inclusive, and pioneering employers and mental health facilities that prioritize the care of their clients and staff. Currently, we are looking for one casual employee for the Frontline Sunshine Coast Health Centre Team.
The Frontline Team is the foundation department of SCHC and GSWC, with many of the organization's long-term staff starting in it. There are regular opportunities for training and advancement into different areas and positions within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to carry out housekeeping duties (primary job responsibility)
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to work independently as well as in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate related equipment
- Ability to carry out the physical requirements and duties of the position
- Ability to maintain supportive and respectful relationships with peers, supervisors, and clients
Requirements:
- Valid first aid and CPR certification (re-certification covered by organization thereafter)
- WHMIS
- Valid class 5 driver's license
