Votre domaine de prédilection:

Ce poste comprend le traitement des comptes fournisseurs et clients, le rapprochement des relevés bancaires et la gestion de la petite caisse. Il assure la saisie exacte des données dans les logiciels de comptabilité, prépare les rapports financiers et tient des registres organisés. Un aspect clé du poste consiste à soutenir le service comptable et les autres membres du personnel de la concession, contribuant ainsi à la santé financière globale et à l'efficacité opérationnelle de l'entreprise. Un grand souci du détail, une bonne maîtrise des chiffres et une bonne connaissance des principes comptables sont essentiels.

Vos principales responsabilités:

  • Tâches administratives et comptables quotidiennes et mensuelles
  • Publication quotidienne et mensuelle des revenus/coût de vente, des transactions A/R et A/P.
  • Enregistrement des transactions bancaires
  • Préparer les dépôts quotidiens et rapprocher les transactions de vente
  • Ouverture et tri du courrier
  • Rapprochement des comptes, suivi des comptes impayés
  • Participer et fournir des commentaires concernant la mise en œuvre des processus et procédures internes
  • Aider à d'autres fonctions et tâches comptables et administratives et à des projets spéciaux en fonction des besoins ou des exigences.

Vos capacités et références:

  • Un diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent

  • Minimum 1 à 2 ans d'expérience en comptabilité ou en administration

  • Une expérience antérieure dans l'industrie automobile est un atout

  • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams)

  • Compétences exceptionnelles en communication écrite et verbale

  • Solides compétences en matière d'organisation et de gestion du temps, gestion de plusieurs priorités, exécution d'une variété de tâches et respect de délais serrés.

  • Grande attention aux détails et à la précision

  • Envie d'apprendre

  • Capacité à travailler à la fois de manière indépendante et en équipe

Your focus:

This role involves processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, managing petty cash. They ensure accurate data entry into accounting software, prepare financial reports, and maintain organized records. A key aspect of the job is supporting the accounting department and other dealership personnel, contributing to the overall financial health and operational efficiency of the business. Strong attention to detail, proficiency with numbers, and familiarity with accounting principles are essential.

What drives your day to day?

  • Oversee or perform tasks to ensure that financial functions are reconciled monthly including (but not limited to): payroll administration, vehicle deal commissioning, bank and floor plan reconciliation and accounts payable.
  • Meet all monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines as required by Head Office and the Dealer Principal/GM’s including: monthly reconciliations, monthly and quarterly reporting, year-end reporting, etc.
  • Coach, mentor, lead and train accounting staff at the dealership
  • Liaise with head office staff and all senior members of management
  • Complete analysis or requests made by the Controller

What are the must haves.

  • Completion of post-secondary education in accounting or a related field
  • A minimum of 3-5 years or more of relevant work experience
  • Experience working in a car dealership
  • Prior experience in an accounting oversight role is an asset
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal/written communication combined with the ability to interact and gain the support of senior leadership and other decision makers ( French and English)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage priorities, perform a variety of tasks and meet required deadlines and targets
  • Results-driven and career focused individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to be successful.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated and resourceful
  • Excellent skills in Word and Excel. Highly skilled in standard office software (MS Office, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of CDK, ADP, and Tableau computer systems would be considered an asset
  • Experience managing large corporate sales accounts would be considered an asset
  • One-Eighty is considered an asset
