NAIT is currently seeking a highly skilled individual to support our senior leadership team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized and possess excellent communication skills, thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Accountabilities:

Manage and maintain the calendars for the Director of Government Relations & Public Affairs and the Director of Community Engagement, scheduling appointments and meetings efficiently.

Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence, directing them appropriately.
-
Organize and prioritize incoming requests and correspondence to streamline operations.
-
Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as required with precision and timeliness.
-
Coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences, and events, including travel arrangements and accommodations.
-
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
-
Collaborate effectively with various teams and external stakeholders to support organizational goals.
Skills & Abilities:

Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Planning and Prioritization: Ability to plan, prioritize, and adjust workloads to meet organizational demands.

Accountability: Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments, ensuring follow-up when necessary.

Results-driven: Demonstrates the ability to achieve goals with high quality and organization in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous in work, capable of handling large volumes of information accurately and efficiently.

Complex Problem Solving: Can navigate complex information and find creative solutions to daily challenges.

Confidentiality: Maintains confidentiality with sensitive information and handles it with discretion and sensitivity.
Qualifications:
-
3-5 years of administrative experience.
-
Experience in a post-secondary environment is an asset.
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Demonstrated experience with problem solving.
-
Word-processing skills and computer literacy skills.
-
Able to work in a high stress environment.
-
Able to multi-task.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and all applications is a requirement

Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services or the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS).
Remuneration: $58,048.90 - $76,912.94 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
