The Starbelly group is an modern , family friendly restaurant company. We are an innovative and evolving group, focusing on locally sourced, made in house food, YYC brewed craft beer, and playful + fun crafted cocktails.
The Beltliner is named after a Calgary's streetcar that ran down 12th Avenue SW in the early part of the last century. Our goal is to continually offer the freshest, most innovative, playful takes on diner fare in a fun and approachable setting. We take those classic diner staples you would expect and elevate them with great produce and modern techniques. Serious cooking while not taking ourselves too seriously.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide immediate service and deliver efficient, accurate, and engaging service to guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Strive to exceed service standards by working as a team
- Demonstrate complete knowledge of all menu offerings
- Confidently answer question about menu offerings; offer recommendations and suggest add-ons
- Assist co-workers as necessary in order to provide the best possible experience for the guest
- Ensure all opening, closing, and shift changeover duties are completed daily
- Generate accurate bills using Touch Bistro and Chase payment systems
- Maintain a clean work environment in all food & beverage area
- Complete additional duties to ensure the next shift is setup for success
- Other assignments as required
Some requirements are as follows:
- ProServe Certification is required
- A minimum of 2-years serving experience required
- A genuine passion for hospitality and customer engagement
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Must have energetic, enthusiast, and positive attitude
- Service-oriented and experience driven individual
- Proven track record of creating exceptional experiences
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
