Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technology Delivery Manager to join our dynamic team to oversee the end-to-end delivery of changes and maintenance for HomeEquity Bank's core business applications.

The ideal candidate will drive delivery strategies to optimize processes and cultivate a culture of excellence within the Technology Delivery team.

MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE

  • Collaborate with application product owners on prioritization and delivery schedules, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder expectations and critical organizational timelines.
  • Work with business and technical stakeholders to develop and maintain a well-defined backlog that is prioritized and aligned with business goals.
  • Lead and manage the execution of delivery for multiple delivery squads, establishing clear milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Identify and resolve obstacles that impede progress, shielding the team from internal distractions and collaborating with stakeholders to address issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders to plan and implement scheduled, patch and emergency releases.
  • Establish and maintain strong communication with stakeholders, tracking delivery progress and providing comprehensive updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage the release process from planning to implementation, by confirming all deliverables are reviewed, tested and approved.
  • Conduct agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives across multiple squads.
  • Advocate for delivery methodologies that foster innovation, flexibility, and collaboration.
  • Guide the delivery team in adopting and improving Scrum practices and Agile principles, ensuring efficiency and high-quality outputs.
  • Coach, support, and mentor the delivery team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Foster continuous improvement practices within the team to enhance delivery processes.
  • Utilize delivery metrics to assess team performance, identify areas for improvement, and support decision-making.

Qualifications SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Post-Secondary education in a technical or business degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in delivery management or delivery management roles, with a proven track record of successful delivery.
  • Proven experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies and their application in software development.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycles and familiarity with software development practices such as DevOps and Continuous Integration.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remove roadblocks.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
  • Familiarity with software release management.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Preferred experience with scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
  • Preferred knowledge of software development life cycles and familiarity with software development practices (e.g., DevOps, Continuous Integration).
