About the role
Position Title: Project Administrator - Construction
LOCATION: Cambridge Bay, Nunavut
START DATE: ASAP
PURPOSE
The Project Administrator will carry out the administrative/bookkeeping duties for a team of 3-8 trades people, on on-going projects.
SCOPE
The Project Administrator will be responsible for the administration required on construction projects. They will also ensure that accurate and timely information regarding supplies, tools and time are provided and recorded as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Administrator is required to:
- operate as a team member in a cross cultural work environment.
- follows all required safety procedures.
- complete the administrative requirements for construction/renovation projects, and property maintenance with a team of trades people and skilled labour.
- QUALIFICATIONS*
Skills & Knowledge:
· Has 2 years experience in project administration
· Has very good interpersonal skills
- Has exceptional attention to detail & memory
· Has experience in working with a budget, quoting and invoicing
· Keeps a clean work space
· Has very good organizational skills and time management
· Valid driver’s license.
· Current first aid certificate (standard or emergency).
Education:
- Financial Diploma, or Degree
- Some Post Secondary Education in some other trade area would be an asset
Experience:
- Five years experience in the administration
- Five or more years experience doing accounting or bookkeeping on construction projects
Working Conditions
This position is in a remote location, you will need to be on a rotation, 6 weeks in Cambridge Bay and 2 weeks at home.

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
