Are you passionate about preparing healthy, nutritious meals for children? We're looking for a dedicated cook to join our team! The City of Canada Bay is a thriving, colourful community, surrounded by the beautiful bays of Sydney Harbour. The area is also known for its parklands, cycle paths and walkways. About The Role This position is responsible for preparing nutritious snacks and meals for 40+ children per day according to individual dietary requirements and within an allocated budget. You will develop menus in accordance with nutritional guidelines and prepare meals in compliance with national food safety standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare nutritious snacks and meals
- Develop menus in accordance with nutritional guidelines
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards
About the Person
- Previous experience in preparing high-quality, nutritious meals
- Certificate in Food Handling
- A current Working with Children Check
- Awareness of dietary requirements and catering for allergies
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- A current certificate in First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma is desirable
