Position Information The home unit is at the Civic Campus, rotation to the General Campus will be required.
Rotation/Shifts Days, including weekends, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements
- Current Certificate of Competence in the Province of Ontario;
- Ability to perform BCLS to the College of Nurses standards;
- Experience with all central vascular access devices;
- Experience with ultrasound use for vascular access;
- Technical knowledge of vascular access devices;
- Knowledge of standards/guidelines in vascular access;
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of sterile techniques;
- Thorough knowledge of vascular anatomy;
- Excellent leadership and problem solving skills;
- Must be eligible to work in Canada;
- Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French and English-speaking clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- BScN;
- Membership with RNAO, CVAA, AVA;
- Experience with pre and post anesthetic care patients;
- Experience with cardiac monitoring;
- Experience with administration of conscious sedation;
