About the role

A career in Infrastructure and Property, within Business Enablement, will provide you with the opportunity to be a part of developing and managing the PwC operational infrastructure that allows us to support our people and our clients. We focus on all aspects of internal infrastructure services from real estate site selection, facilities management, and physical security to managing relationships with Firm travel partners and event planning. Our Business Operations Services team is responsible for providing functional support for Operations technology as part of our Office Services function. Our core focus is to support the use of operations software platforms that support space management including sensor technology, meeting room booking platforms, asset management and delivering insights across the software portfolio.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As an Operations Support Specialist, Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical assistance and support for the integrated workspace management system to our stakeholder groups.
  • Manage, build, and update workspaces, offices, common areas, and staff profiles across Canada within the workspace management system.
  • Design and adjust spaces for office moves, renovations, and new builds, including vendor, service, equipment, hoteling, and meeting spaces.
  • Support desk and space sensors as well as associated technology platforms, including supporting space strategy and design efforts by surfacing key metrics from the platform.
  • Triage and escalate technical issues to IT or vendors as needed.
  • Collect and analyze user information to define system scope, objectives, and potential solutions.
  • Develop flowcharts, models, and project plans, estimate costs, and maintain technical documentation for systems operation and enhancements.
  • Create custom dashboards or reports using tools such as Microsoft Power BI
  • Maintain and support data management efforts leveraging solutions including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks & Alteryx.
  • Assist with vendor management, procurement, technology evaluations, and governance processes including defining SOPs and runbooks.

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • Interest in digital upskilling, technology trends, and openness to new tools and processes
  • Commitment to valuing differences and collaborating with diverse perspectives
  • Experience with technology systems administration or consoles
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues for end users
  • Education in Facilities Management, IT, Information Science, Data, and/or Analytics is an asset
  • Knowledge of integrated workspace management solutions and IoT technologies (e.g., sensors, desk signage) is an asset
  • Strong project management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Client service oriented, with stakeholder management experience and ability to understand client needs
  • Exceptional prioritization, multitasking, and ability to balance project and operational activities
  • Excellent communication, judgment, problem-solving, professionalism, integrity, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
