About the role
Tasks
- Planning and Compliance: Assist in developing the annual budget, prepare tax credit and grant applications, and support tax audits.
- Analysis and Control: Review sales taxes, perform account analyses, ensure the reliability of financial data, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Operational Support: Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, process supplier invoices, support tax filings, and produce required reports.
- Continuous Improvement: Support corporate initiatives, produce strategic reports, and act as a resource person on tax and compliance matters.
- Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
- CPA designation obtained or in progress.
- Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written, in order to collaborate effectively with teams based in the United States.
- Strong analytical, communication, and priority management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian taxation and management accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ease with ERP tools (ideally Microsoft Dynamics), Power BI, and Planning Analytics.
