Meet Fresh Prep — Western Canada’s most convenient and sustainable meal kit delivery service.
As a certified B Corporation, we make convenient eating healthy and sustainable for the communities we operate in. We source quality local ingredients whenever possible, and deliver in reusable, recyclable and compostable packaging. We offer 10 chef-created meal kit recipes each week, with options for many lifestyles and preferences including vegetarian and vegan.
In the past few years, we have collected many awards and recognition for our continued pursuit in being a leader in both customer and employee satisfaction. Some awards include The Georgia Straight’s Golden Plates, 23rd and 24th Annual Best of Vancouver award for Best Meal Kit Service, BC’s Top Employers 2023, Top SME 2023, and Climate Smart. What You'll Be Doing:
- Proactively flags inventory discrepancies and follows up with an investigation to determine the root cause of discrepancies
- Working closely with the purchasing team to ensure that inventory is correct and up to date
- End of week inventory reconciliation
- Monitoring inventory against production demands and advise inventory issues
- Issue and monitor top up requests from production or warehouse
- Validating and ensuring inventory data is accurate and reflected properly in the WMS
- FIFO rotation is being adhered to
- Trains and corrects cycle count practices performed by the team
What We Are Looking For:
- Have 1+ years of experience in a similar position and have sound knowledge of inventory processes and procedures.
- Understand the importance of details. You don’t sweat the small stuff and thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- You are team-oriented. You understand the importance of a positive attitude, you are always seeking personal and professional growth and you are always there to lend a hand.
- You have a good eye for detail, and advanced problem-solving skills.
- WMS, MRP and/or ERP experience is preferred
- Experience in a warehouse operation is preferred
- Ability to train and coach others is preferred

Our customers can choose from 10 delicious meals per week, delivered to their door in sustainable packaging, for as low as $10.99 per serving.
All ingredients come pre-cut and pre-portioned, reducing many steps of the cooking process – making dinner time easier and quicker. Customers can also choose from a menu of Add-ons including quick ready-to-eat meals, salads, healthy snacks, juices and pantry staples.
We offer meal kit options for all diets and preferences - 50% of our weekly menu is vegetarian or vegan and customers can select gluten-aware and carb-conscious meals.
