Established in 2025 by Trivest Partners, a private equity firm, Sentinel was formed through the acquisition of several regional service providers: Lenworth Building Services, Pro Door & Dock Systems, Mar-Lin Dock & Door and Door Doctor. These companies specialize in the installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead doors, dock levelers, and related equipment for commercial and industrial facilities.
Sentinel Dock & Door Solutions, corporate office located in Oakville is seeing a Human Resources Business Partner. As Sentinel continues to grow through strategic acquisitions, we’re looking for a passionate and driven HR professional to support this evolution. You'll play a key role in driving employee engagement, ensuring compliance, and leading the harmonization of HR processes across our partner organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Champion health and safety initiatives, ensuring full compliance with all legal and regulatory standards.

Support recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent, maintaining optimal staffing levels across the organization.

Lead employee engagement and morale programs that cultivate a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Manage group benefits and RSP/DPSP programs to promote employee well-being and financial security.

Maintain comprehensive training documentation and ensure efficient, seamless HR operations.

Partner with leadership to enhance employee retention and unlock the full potential of the workforce.
What we're looking for:

A natural people person with a genuine passion for Human Resources including 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience

Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly.

Outstanding organizational and communication abilities, both written and verbal.

Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a solid grasp of compliance requirements and HR best practices.
Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00K per year
