Category Manager – General Indirects
Hybrid – 2 days/week
Up to $80 per hour
6-12 Month Contract
Our client, a leading Canadian financial services business, is seeking an experienced Category Manager to support a wide range of Strategic Sourcing initiatives across key Non-IT categories. This includes Professional Services, Staff Augmentation, Marketing, HR, Facilities, and Business Operations.
This is a busy Category area where getting deals over the line will be a priority initially.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies across a broad set of Non-IT spend categories
- Partner with business stakeholders to align procurement plans with company objectives
- Lead end-to-end sourcing events, contract negotiations, and vendor selection
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, while ensuring compliance
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor performance
