Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while managing transactions efficiently. Your ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate product knowledge will enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
Note: We are not processing this role through RCIP program.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process transactions.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding and interest.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Maintain an organized checkout area, ensuring cleanliness and stock availability.
- Provide technical support for technology sales, assisting customers with product selection based on their needs.
- Utilize strong time management skills to handle peak hours effectively while maintaining service quality.
- Communicate effectively over the phone, addressing customer concerns and inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service or cashier role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with technology sales is a plus, as well as experience in technical sales environments.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as language skills can enhance customer interactions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills are essential for accurate transaction processing and cash handling.
