Photography Community Engagement and Customer Service Representative (Print Shop)

As a Photography Community Engagement and Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in increasing foot traffic to the Canon Print Shop by engaging with the local and online photography eco-systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engaging with the online photography community by moderating discussions, answering questions, and promoting the shop’s services
  • Identifying and developing partnerships with complementary businesses, such as framing and photo editing services, to enhance service offerings
  • Working closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and events including
    • Photography workshops,
    • Guest speaker sessions to enhance customer engagement and service offerings.
  • Promoting Canon Print Shop programming and services to businesses and communities in the surrounding area by making in-person visits and meetings.
  • Tracking and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, community engagement efforts, and sales activities in order to provide feedback for future initiatives.
  • Working with the marketing team to create content for social media, the Canon Canada website, and newsletters to promote the shop’s products and services
  • Handling print orders from intake to fulfillment, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery
  • Ensuring the proper opening and closing of the Canon Print Shop
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards

To Succeed, You Will Have

  • High School or Equivalent Diploma
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with community engagement in the photo eco-system
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, print deadlines, and process improvement project impacting the print shop
  • The ability to generate reports and analyze data for management recommendations
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for basic photo editing
