About the role

We are looking for a professional, confident, and highly communicative Administrative Assistant & As our Company Receptionist, you’ll provide exceptional front counter customer service. You’ll greet clients warmly, handle job pickups and payments, and support our sales and admin teams with a variety of tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a customer-facing position and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Key Duties:

  • Greet walk-in customers with professionalism and a friendly demeanor
  • Process payments efficiently and accurately via POS system
  • Make outbound calls to inform clients about job completion and arrange payment or pickup
  • Handle phone payments and payment confirmations
  • Assist with processing small new orders at the front counter
  • Perform filing and general administrative tasks as needed
  • Provide basic quotes and assist with order coordination alongside the sales department
  • Manage front desk communications and occasional overflow calls
  • Take on basic design projects, and coordinate social media management
  • Take part in putting together company marketing materials

Requirements:

  • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential
  • Minimum 18 months of Canadian work experience in a customer-facing role
  • Ability to use Adobe Suite
  • Previous design experience
  • Previous experience in Social Media Management
  • Prior experience handling cash and using a Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Proficiency with basic computer tasks and email
  • Ability to learn quickly and take direction well (coachable)
  • Prior customer service experience is essential – ideal candidates may have worked in hospitality, retail, or similar service industries
