About the role

Responsible for the education and implementation of CARQUEST initiatives, programs, and services to develop sales growth at both the corporate and independent stores.

Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers. Assists in the development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting. Works with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives.

Essential Functions
-
Maintains current technical knowledge of the assigned CARQUEST product lines and serves as the liaison between the suppliers of those product lines and our CARQUEST customers and teammates.

Communicates the benefits of the TECH-NET and CTI programs to teammates and existing Tech-Net Professional members.

Maintains close working relationships with the distribution centers, store group, and independent management teams to ensure teammates are well informed.

Assists management in designing product knowledge training for all teammates, commercial customers and national accounts.

Assists in identifying and supporting sales growth opportunities
-
Gathers product information, such as features, benefits and technical data, for training both internal and external customers.

Grow National Account and Banner Program Sales

Grow E-Commerce Sales

Work Experience
-
Automotive aftermarket experience.

Skills & Abilities Required
-
Strong background in automotive aftermarket.
-
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-
Ability to discern the importance of projects and schedule them accordingly.

Proficient with Microsoft suite of applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
-
Valid Driver's License
