Role Impact:

Under general supervision, the Investment Analyst provides expertise through conducting complex analyses of data and developing related reports and recommendations to support Investments in all of its initiatives.

What you will deliver:

• Assists in underwriting real estate investment opportunities (acquisitions/dispositions) for both asset and corporate level transactions and performs asset and market due diligence

• Participates in the execution of real estate and real estate-related acquisitions and dispositions, including due diligence processes

• Assists in the development and management of financial models for investments, joint ventures, scenario analysis and financing

• Participates in the research, analysis and execution of strategic initiatives

What your strengths are:

• Solid grounding in financial concepts, corporate finance and valuation

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to detail

• Ability to work well under pressure with multiple or competing deadlines

• Spanish or Portuguese language skills an asset, but not required

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

• Ability to develop working relationships with both internal and external clients

• Basic project management skills

What you need to succeed:

• Undergraduate degree in a related discipline with top academic credentials

• CA, CFA, MBA an asset, but not required

• 1-2 years of experience in a multi-sector real estate, private equity or investment banking firm in an investment, valuation and/or asset management capacity

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling) and Microsoft PowerPoint
