We are currently hiring for experienced Part-Time Produce Clerk.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Respond immediately to customer inquires and requests
• Actively approach customers in a friendly manner to promote natural products
• Merchandising and product displays including wet case
• Ensure the department is well stocked and clean
• Move stock from trucks to produce area and ensure the area is clean/organized
• Prepare product to be stocked on the shelves or in the coolers
• Maintains store shelves by observing displays of company products, removing damaged or freshness-dated products, tidying store shelves
• Maintain optimum display of products
• Restock shelves with product from inventory
• Prompt store management to reorder stock when inventory is low
• Assists with special promotions by monitoring customers reaction, putting up and taking down

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience working with produce and produce trimming
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to provide feedback and receive constructive feedback
• Excellent communication skills and positive attitude
• Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude are essential
