About the role
PROJECT CONTEXT:
For this position, we are looking for a junior to intermediate-level candidate who is expected to be very hands-on. The person must have at least some similar experience in their professional background.
TASKS & REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Optimize Power BI dashboards with a focus on user-friendliness, performance, flexibility, and standardization
- Support the design of data architecture structures to back BI initiatives
- Assist in the development of Business Intelligence reports and operational analytics capabilities, including but not limited to:
- Trends and projections of operational performance indicators (e.g., resource consumption, usage)
- Operational data quality analysis (e.g., data quality measures, metrics, root cause analysis in areas such as customer data)
PROFILE SOUGHT:
- At least one prior experience as a BI Developer or Analyst
- Experience designing data warehouses (e.g., dimensional modeling)
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, OLAP (online analytical processing), and ETL (extract, transform, load) frameworks
- Knowledge of SQL queries and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Proven ability to take initiative and demonstrate innovation
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in building Power BI reports based on business needs, including linked content, deep-dive analysis, and nested parameters
