POSITION SUMMARY
This is a regionally based position that is responsible for training and assisting the retail network in sales and aftermarket support activities which promote growth in Company motive power revenues and end-user satisfaction with V-Force products. Primary motive power sales and aftermarket support contact between Company and the retail network in the region. Maintain Marketing Plan for each retailer in the region. The Regional Specialist Motive Power reports to the Motive Power team.
- Direct retailers in the service/support and marketing/selling of company V-Force motive power programs. Assist retailer efforts with sales force development in motive power knowledge and confidence.
- Monitor branch charger bookings report and charger sales to determine focus of training and sales support. Deliver training programs that educate retailer technicians and personnel to provide superior customer satisfaction for the V-Force product line.
- Provide initial product training, product updates and enhancements, and what's new/next in the field. This will be accomplished by hosting service clinics and making field visits to end users.
- Ensure all customers enjoy a superior ownership experience with the V-Force products. This will be accomplished by making proactive visits to existing users and offering suggestions to improve battery life and associated products performance.
- Complete surveys, customer visits, product focus meetings, demo's, product comparisons, power studies, and structure Return on Investment’s (ROI's) for active deals.
- Act as a field liaison between International Head Office and the customer to address product performance, application specific issues, and special product requests.
- Targeted Account Development as identified by the Motive Power Manager and the National Account team. Help collect specific site information and comparison information to support sales initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOW HOW & EXPERIENCE
- Valid driver’s license. Extensive travel (over 20%).
- A four-year degree in business, sales, or engineering is preferred.
- Two - four years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer service – new equipment sales experience is preferred.
- Technical experience preferred.
- Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
- Excellent communication, relationship building, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word.
