Kamloops Truss Ltd. is currently hiring Apprentice Carpenters to join our expanding Wall Panel Division at our state-of-the-art production plant in Kamloops, BC.

Position Overview
As an Apprentice Carpenter – Wall Panel Division, you will be actively involved in the production of prefabricated wall panels. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and an interest in carpentry and wood framing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly and production of prefabricated wall panels.
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings under supervision.
- Operate or assist with automated panel machinery.
- Use fasteners, adhesives, and reinforcements to secure wood components.
- Follow quality control standards to ensure all panels meet specifications.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
- Always adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in or interest in registering for a Carpentry Apprenticeship Program (support provided).
- Basic experience or strong interest in carpentry, wood framing, or construction.
- Ability to read and interpret basic drawings is an asset.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team-based production environment.
- Understanding of construction safety best practices.

- Hourly wage: $20.00 – $28.00 (based on experience and qualifications).
