Camp Counsellor
About the role
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic, responsible, and creative individuals interested in joining our team as Camp Counsellors!
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a Camp Counsellor, you’ll play a vital role in leading children this summer in an intergenerational camp experience. During camp you will be responsible for a range of fun and enriching activities — including arts and crafts, outdoor activities and more. You’ll help create a safe, engaging, and memorable experience for all participants. Please speak to Amanda Rowden (Manager, CSS) for additional information about the role.
QUALIFICATIONS:
We’re looking for people who:
- Love working with kids and have a positive, energetic attitude
- Are reliable, responsible, and committed to child safety
- Enjoy planning and running fun activities
- Can work collaboratively with other counsellors and staff
- Have CPR and First Aid certification
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 weeks
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
