About this opportunity:

You will be working within the Ottawa Product Systems team in the Ericsson radio product development unit. Your role will include development activities such as: business analysis, cost analysis, architecture review, hardware reviews, hardware/software development process and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

What you will do:

• Contribute to R&D team deliverables as part of a large product systems team
• E2E app software development and cloud deployment with AI/ML, databases and 2D/3D data visualization
• Business ecosystem & supply chain analysis
• Product cost analysis & tool/methodology development
• Learn, develop & deploy ML/AI models for systems analysis
• Product configuration management support hardware/software development
• Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
• Develop competence in wireless radio technical domain

The skills you bring:

• Enrolled in a co-op program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Industrial Economics, or similar technical field
• Course exposure, work experience &/or interest in wireless and communication standards
• Software experience/interest; python, fastapi, javascript, react, SQL, Docker …
• Interest in the telecom or high-tech industry
• Strong collaboration, attention to detail and teaming skills
• Computer programming experience with interest in ML/AI analysis
• Self-motivation with planning & organization skills
• Problem solving skills
• Interest in the radio product development process
• Business understanding
• To be results driven & able to work well with people
• Innovating, adapting skills
• Excellent communication skills: Fluent in English, both spoken & written
