Job Description:

• We are currently hiring Senior Full Stack Developers for a high-impact, long-term remote contract opportunity supporting major digital transformation initiatives within the public sector in Canada.
• This 12-month contract offers the chance to work on citizen-focused digital services as part of a collaborative Agile team. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reusable web applications that serve millions of users.

Position Details:

• Location: Remote (must reside in Canada)
• Contract Duration: 12 months (06/17/2025 – 06/16/2026)
• Hours: Full-time, 7.25 hours/day
• Extension: Possible (up to 24 additional months)
• Openings: 27

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in technical discovery and contribute to user research
• Design and develop scalable frontend and backend solutions
• Collaborate with designers and product owners for solution alignment
• Build APIs and reusable components with a focus on accessibility and maintainability
• Support deployment, integration, and enhancement of digital services
• Contribute to documentation, team onboarding, and continuous improvement
• Help ensure security, performance, and coding standards are met

Required Qualifications:

• Must reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work without sponsorship
• 5+ years of full stack development experience
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue
• Backend development experience with Node.js, Java, or .NET
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Public sector or government experience is a strong asset
• Must be able to pass background and security checks

• This is a remote position; all work must be conducted within Canada
• Candidate must supply their own remote working equipment
• Occasional travel within Alberta may be required
