About the role

The Green Street News Account Executive is a dynamic, team-oriented role focused on driving revenue growth for Green Street News Canada on a global scale. This quota-carrying position requires an entrepreneurial mindset, characterized by drive, initiative, energy, and a sense of urgency in converting qualified prospects into new clients. The Sales Associate will play a crucial role in the continued growth and success of Green Street.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation and Conversion: Proactively engage with prospects through phone calls and tailored email campaigns to create and convert leads into clients
  • Pipeline Management: Exercise discretion and independent judgment to manage and expand an existing sales pipeline, ensuring consistent progress and growth
  • Salesforce Tracking: Proactively track and update pipeline activity and revenue forecasts using Salesforce to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Prospecting: Identify and assess new sales opportunities, moving multiple prospects through the sales pipeline efficiently Sales Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan aimed at high-volume prospect engagement to drive revenue and enhance brand awareness
  • Performance Metrics: Achieve key activity and performance metrics, including call volume, email engagement, and other relevant targets
  • Data Synthesis: Gather and analyze real estate, transaction, and securities data to facilitate relevant and impactful prospect engagement
  • Feedback Documentation: Understand and document prospect feedback throughout the sales cycle to refine and improve sales strategies

Candidate Profile

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the news or media industry
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with initiative and drive for results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Compensation, Benefits And Work Authorization In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for commission and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements). Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.

Green Street will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
