  • Design, test, validate and implement large scale, enterprise endpoint solutions, including device configurations, operating system deployments, and software distribution.
  • Document environments, configurations, deployments, and changes within the environment.
  • Develop and maintain endpoint security standards in line with the company's security policies and best practices.
  • Create standardized desktop and laptop configurations, including operating systems and software, and ensure the deployment feasibility of these configurations to new or existing hardware.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the imaging infrastructure is being utilized successfully across the estate through regular monitoring and regular touchpoints with End User Services.
  • Respond to, investigate, and resolve issues with the imaging infrastructure in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the deployment, management, and administration of endpoint management platforms such as Intune, SCCM, and JAMF for endpoints using Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Leads regular sessions with internal teams to disseminate knowledge of technologies and best practices.
  • Leads endpoint-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Functions as a subject matter expert for endpoint management, providing escalated support and troubleshooting for complex end point issues.
  • Analyze, report, and act upon endpoint performance metrics and security alerts.
  • Monitor endpoint performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize configurations for better user experience. Work closely with End User Services to ensure user experience is being measured on a consistent basis through ticketing trends, proactive working groups with stakeholders across the company, and other feedback such as surveys and metrics.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all endpoints are compliant with licensing, security patches, and company policies.
  • Research and evaluate new endpoint technologies, tools, and solutions to improve efficiency and security. In close collaboration with End User Services and other IT leadership, develop standards and guidelines for the adoption of new technologies.

  • University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field required
  • At least 10 years’ progressively responsible and related experience in a directly related field
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and MacOS, IOS and Android operating systems, as well as common software applications and networking principles.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with end-users and team members, providing clear and concise support and instructions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate system configurations and documentation.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple issues simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in desktop support or a similar role, with a track record of successfully managing and resolving technical issues.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud platforms such as Intune, Autopilot, Entra and M365
  • Advanced PowerShell knowledge is required
  • Experience with Windows task sequence development
  • Experience with Endpoint Management specifically with Intune and SCCM
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, multi-tasking and time management
  • Proven attendance and punctuality.
  • Professional behaviour and communication that meets the standards of the professional regulatory college or association, as applicable, and the standards of Women’s College Hospital
