Description
We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial General Manager to lead operations and market development on Vancouver Island, with a primary focus on Victoria. This is a key leadership position in an emerging growth market for Impark, and we are looking for a results-driven individual who can manage day-to-day operations while also identifying new business opportunities and forging relationships with stakeholders in the commercial real estate and development community. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational oversight, a strategic sales mindset, and deep ties within the Vancouver Island business community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development initiatives to grow Impark’s presence across Vancouver Island, with a focus on identifying, targeting, and securing new opportunities in Victoria’s commercial real estate and development sectors.
- Cultivate and leverage relationships with developers, property managers, landlords, and municipal stakeholders to support Impark’s market penetration and long-term growth.
- Develop and execute local market strategies in collaboration with national business development and marketing teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and regional opportunities.
- Oversee the preparation of proposals, presentations, and RFP submissions that position Impark competitively in the local market.
- Act as a regional brand ambassador, representing Impark at industry events, trade shows, business forums, and civic organizations to enhance visibility and reputation.
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of managers and frontline staff, ensuring operational consistency and strong leadership across multiple sites.
- Serve as the senior point of contact for all Vancouver Island clients and property partners, maintaining trusted, proactive relationships.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder engagement across internal teams and external partners to support business growth and operational success.
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operating reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Review and manage P&L statements, variance reports, and implement corrective measures to ensure financial objectives are met or exceeded.
- Ensure all managed facilities maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, customer service, and operational compliance.
- Enforce contractual obligations across the portfolio and lead resolution of any escalated issues or incidents.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

7+ years of experience in real estate management and/or the parking industry preferred.

Previous supervisory and account management experience.

Valid Driver’s License.

Established network and experience in the Victoria real estate and development community is highly preferred.
