Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at the Sylvia Hotel Vancouver. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, replenish towels, and restock amenities as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and stored properly after use.
- Assist with laundry services as required to maintain inventory of clean linens.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with hotel operations is an asset.
