The Opportunity:
About KeyStone Financial – www.keystocks.com is a web-based stock market research firm with a simple do-it-yourself (DIY) strategy designed to help our clients create unique stock portfolios that beat the market long-term. KeyStone's primary offering is independent research (BUY/SELL/HOLD advice) on individual Canadian and U.S. Stocks. We also conduct paid educational-based Webinars for prospective clients. Over the past 25 years, Keystone has established a solid brand via our strong track record and media presence (radio and television). We are seeking a talented and energetic candidate for a full-time position.
Job Description:
The position offers an excellent opportunity to immediately begin monitoring Canadian Dividend growth and US large to mega-cap growth stocks under the supervision of KeyStone’s founder and two senior CFA analysts. The candidate will have the opportunity to author update and initial coverage reports, author special reports, assist in management interviews, participate on KeyStone’s weekly Podcast among other research functions.
KeyStone offers a great deal of flexibility and long-term potential growth. You will work from home and must have a place to set up a small home office. There may be some travel required. All equipment (computer, phone, printer, etc. will be provided.
The specific elements of this position include:
- Assistance with the research & creation of initial coverage reports, update reports, and special reports (BUY/SELL stock advice) for our clients.
- Participate in the ongoing daily monitoring of all Canadian Dividend Growth Stocks & U.S. growth stocks with a market cap > $20 billion.
- Weekly participation and creation of content for KeyStone’s Stock Talk Podcast.
- Monthly creation - both researched and written – of industry-specific special reports.
Candidate Profile:
- We are looking for a hard-working, organized, self-starter with the ability to learn, work well within a team, and with a deep desire to succeed.
- A bachelor’s degree in business (financial or economics preferred).
- Willingness and interest in furthering your education in finance via enrollment in the CFA program, beginning with Level 1.
- A significant interest and passion for stock investing & learning about the financial markets is critical.
- Middle to Western Canada preferred as we operate in Pacific Time.
