Duties
- Assist in the preparation of contract documents and drawings.
- Communicate with other Project Site Inspectors and Construction Administrator or Project Manager.
- Set up, facilitate and participate in project meetings.
- Prepare meeting notes and project memorandums.
- Review and process contract extra work claims.
- Prepare and process monthly progress estimates.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and the public as required.
- Undertake site inspection duties on both vertical (Treatment Plants, Pumping Stations, etc.) and/or linear (roads, watermains, sewers, etc.) projects.
- Adhere to all site safety requirements and regulations.
Qualifications
- Civil Tech diploma OR an undergraduate degree in Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Superior English communication skills both oral and written.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, and related to linear projects including water mains, sewers, roads is a project requirement.
- Contract administrative experience is a strong asset.
- Must have a valid class G driver's license and his/her own vehicle for transportation between office and assigned work site.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
