Advanced Bending Technologiesis looking for an experienced and energetic Cold Bending Machine Operator to join our Production Team in Calgary Alberta.

The Cold Bending Machine Operator works with specialized machinery to shape metal, typically pipes or tubes, by using an induction current to heat the material to a specific temperature, then bending it into the desired shape. They are responsible for setting up the machine, selecting the correct parameters for heating and bending, and ensuring the final product meets quality standards.

Essential Functions for this Role are:

• Material Layouts before bending
• Operating Bending Equipment
• In process inspections to ensure product meets quality requirements
• Material Handling (overhead cranes)
• Tooling set up/fabrication

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills required:

• Loading the material, adjusting the machine's parameters (feed, limits), and initiating the bending process**.**
• Monitoring and adjusting the parameters as required to achieve the desired bend geometry.
• Inspecting the bent material for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and any defects.
• Fabrication experience (welding/torch cutting/etc. an asset).
• Education –High School+, basic understanding of math an asset
