Role Summary:

We are looking for a Clearing and Settlement Analyst to design and and optimise systems and processes to facilitate growth and scaling of the business. You will form part of the end of day settlement team responsible for daily settlement at 5PM (New York). You will become the expert in the systems and processes involved, and document the business requirements for automation and efficiency  improvements. This is a full-time mid-level role ideal for someone with a strong technical background (engineering experience or education preferred) who is excited about driving projects in a fintech startup environment. (Note: Prior crypto experience is not required, but an interest in the digital asset space is highly desired.)

Note: Work hours will be arranged in order to achieve an overlap with the EMEA time zone. This will mean an early start!

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering & Analysis:

  Work with internal stakeholders (product, operations, compliance, and leadership) to gather business requirements. Analyze and document these requirements in technical terms that developers and architects can act upon.

• Cross-Team Liaison:

  Serve as the bridge between the business side and the tech team. Facilitate clear communication of project goals, changes, and expectations. Conduct regular check-ins with developers and designers to track progress and address roadblocks.

• Technical Documentation:

  Produce functional specifications, user stories, flow diagrams, or requirement documents as needed. Ensure all technical changes and features are well-documented for both internal reference and future onboarding.

• EOD Management:

  Facilitate daily end of day settlement.

• Client Communication:

  Develop relationships with clients and provide prompt and efficient service.

• Innovation & Improvement:

  Proactively identify opportunities to improve product workflows or operational processes. Stay informed about industry trends (fintech, crypto, clearing systems) to suggest innovative solutions that keep FXCH ahead of the curve.

Ideal Candidate:

• Background & Experience:

  3-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst and Operations roles. A background in software engineering or IT is strongly preferred.

• Analytical Mindset:

  Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps. Comfortable using data and metrics to inform decisions and measure success.

• Communication:

  Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Capable of translating technical information to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa. Fluent in English (written and spoken); able to produce clear documentation and presentations.

• Adaptability & Drive:

  Self-motivated and adaptable, with a startup mindset. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can wear multiple hats. Interest in cryptocurrency or blockchain

  is a plus – you stay curious about emerging tech in finance and are eager to learn more on the job.

• Attention to Detail:

  Diligent in following up on open items and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. You take ownership of outcomes and have a track record of delivering projects that meet requirements and quality standards.
