What you will do: Host Our restaurant host team is an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional entertainment experience to each and every guest. They are the first faces our guests see when they come to the restaurant, as well as the first voices heard when guests call our venue. If you thrive in an energetic, fast-paced, guest facing and social atmosphere, this may be the opportunity for you!
In this role, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Greeting and seating guests within the restaurant, while executing appropriate talking points.
- Setting tables, running food, cleaning tables.
- Responsible for operating the company iPad on Opentable, updating our floorplan, taking reservations, contacting reservations and running waitlists.
- Answering phone calls in our call centre and being a trusted resource for guests’ inquiries and concerns and have a working knowledge of the venue’s pricing for special events, promotions and daily events.
Qualifications: This role may be a perfect fit for you if:
- For licensed venues, candidates must be the required age of majority or older than 19 years of age
- You have a passion for working with people and providing fun and exceptional experience.
- You have experience with customer service.
- You can complete tasks with attention to detail.
- You have strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- You are able to multi-task.
- Strong time management skills.
- Provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate.
