DWB Consulting Services Ltd is seeking a dedicated Junior Forest Technician to join our dynamic team and support forestry projects across British Columbia. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for outdoor work in a forested setting. Prior experience or education in forestry related field is an asset. DUTIES
Fieldwork and Data Collection:
- Assisting with timber cruising
- Assisting with road and boundary layout
- Road and boundary traversing
- Assisting with Ecological data collection
- Assisting with riparian classification
- Assisting with pre-harvest cut block reconnaissance
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Current enrollment or a recent graduate in a Diploma or degree in Natural Resource Management with a focus on forestry or a related field is an asset.
Experience:
- No experience required.
