About the role

DWB Consulting Services Ltd is seeking a dedicated Junior Forest Technician to join our dynamic team and support forestry projects across British Columbia. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for outdoor work in a forested setting. Prior experience or education in forestry related field is an asset. As a member of our forestry team, you'll be part of a collaborative environment that values Integrity, Community, and Service. DUTIES

Fieldwork and Data Collection:

  • Assisting with timber cruising
  • Assisting with road and boundary layout
  • Road and boundary traversing
  • Assisting with Ecological data collection
  • Assisting with riparian classification
  • Assisting with pre-harvest cut block reconnaissance

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Current enrollment or a recent graduate in a Diploma or degree in Natural Resource Management with a focus on forestry or a related field is an asset.

Experience:

  • No experience required.
