About the role
As an Investment Advisor, you will contribute to the intake, prospecting, solicitation, development or maintenance of business relationships with members and clients. You offer a service that meets the needs of the clientele according to the strategies and practices in effect. This is a supporting role to the DAN referral advisor who is manage a large book of business. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Build strong partnership with our DAN (Desjardins Agent Network)and the DAN Referral Financial advisor Team members
- Develop and maintain personalized business relationships with clients and members
- Provide advice that supports the strategies and business unit and meets the needs or our clients
- Engage and educate clients where needed to support financial empowerment
- Ensure consistency between sales objectives, sound and prudent risk management, profitability and member and customer satisfaction
- Analyze the needs of clients, develop and implement appropriate solutions and present integrated service offers. The nature of the files and of your interventions requires strong knowledge of your sector
- Meet regulatory requirements put forth by the dealer and the regulators
- Provide advice and support to current and potential clients with a continued effort on growth.

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience as Investment Advisor
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Must hold a Mutual Funds License
- Strong communication skills in both Cantonese and English, both oral and written due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with english-speaking partners, members and/or clients
