Make a difference in Desjardins Technology Group’s IT stability! As an IT Service Management Advisor, you have the skill to rally contributors around a common goal, which is to ensure the stability of our IT ecosystem dedicated to financing and business network services within Desjardins. You like to carry out IT investigations, diagnose critical situations and surround yourself with experts to propose concrete solutions to improve our tool performance, while respecting compliance and meeting our members’ and clients’ needs within the agreed upon deadlines and service-level agreements (SLAs). You’re known for your ability to motivate teams in diagnostic workshops until resolution, clearly communicate your status and effectively resolve incidents involving multiple players. As an IT Service Management Advisor, you’ll be a leader in incident management, analyze root causes and implement resolutions within the required timeframes. As the representative of the Financing Solutions and Business Network Services Administrative Department, you’ll be a pillar of operational stability and an ambassador of service management best practices. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Develop and implement IT service management strategies and policies that are aligned with Desjardins Group objectives
- Oversee and govern processes for managing incidents, problems, changes, configurations of IT services under your responsibility, as well as those related to monitoring, events, capacity and performance to ensure the stability of IT solutions
- Act as a leader in forwarding contribution requests that have been assigned to our administrative department’s ServiceDesk, by making sure they’re handled by relevant teams until each request is completed
- Diagnose complex issues, recommend sustainable solutions and coordinate their implementation with support from our IT ecosystem experts who work with our business relationship advisors
- Prepare executive reports on the impacts and risks, as well as the mitigation plan for correcting any incidents
- Manage practices in ServiceNow (incidents, problems, changes, configurations, monitoring, capacity, service requests)
- Implement dashboards to ensure effective monitoring of incidents and requests to track our metrics within the administrative department
- Help the administrative department develop business solutions with internal and external teams to ensure service continuity

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or in a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Experience in diagnostics, impact analysis, report writing and strategic communications
- Experience in coordinating critical incidents and managing IT stability in a complex, collaborative and cross-sector environment
- Knowledge of French is required
- Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
