Job Description Summary

We are looking for someone who is passionate about equipment best practices!

As the Equipment Records Administrator at STEMCELL, you will act as the point of contact for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) database, and be responsible for ensuring the facilities’ asset data & information is maintained in an evergreen state. You will support STEMCELL’s global facilities and liaise with various stakeholders including Facility Managers/Coordinators, Equipment and Building Systems Specialists, Maintenance Planners, Schedulers and other functional work groups to manage and administer critical facility equipment information/records in the CMMS database.

You will be instrumental in onboarding new equipment data and maintenance records, following up on equipment information, and supporting the business with information for maintenance and reliability requests, as well as quality and compliance audits.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the equipment database, including updating asset registry structure and equipment hierarchy in accordance with the Global Facilities Asset Management Procedures to support STEMCELL’s global facilities
  • Organize the attachment of equipment documentation/certificates/forms/manuals for global sites
  • Collaborate with the Planner/Scheduler to update PMs with appropriate information (parts, materials, documentation, etc.) as part of continuous improvement of work plans
  • Be the primary point of contact with the CMMS database provider to address technical issues and explore opportunities for continuous improvement of the system
  • As the “Super” user of the CMMS system, provide training for the end-users and develop/maintain training documentation

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a technical related program (Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering Technology or other) is preferred

  • CMMS foundation knowledge alongside experience using Google Suite an asset

  • Basic knowledge on asset management principles (reliability, work control management, etc.)

  • Basic understanding of ISO 13485/ISO 55001 & ISO 14224 principles

  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification and experience in the Life Sciences industry would be an asset

  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and excellent communication (presentation, written/oral, etc.) critical to role success

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:

$58,500.00 - $79,100.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
