Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage the front desk operations, including checking guests in and out of the hotel.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about hotel services and responding to inquiries.
- Handle guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including managing phone systems and coordinating with other departments.
- Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest experiences.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficient in phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and hotel management software is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling guest requests and reservations.
- Knowledge of Opera Cloud ( an asset)
