Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Project Manager oversees projects related to the development of new products, the improvement of existing products, customized solutions for external clients, and various strategic initiatives.

They are responsible for executing these projects from the definition phase through to product launch. The Project Manager also contributes to the coordination and delivery of complex projects in the rail sector, working closely with the production team.

As a Project Manager, You Will

  • Play a key role in shaping this new function by developing the processes, tools, and best practices that will ensure its long-term effectiveness and integration.
  • Lead projects from requirements definition to product launch, managing scope, planning and budget tracking, execution strategies, and risk management.
  • Collaborate closely with the Production and R&D teams to maximize performance by setting clear objectives and direction.
  • Monitor project progress and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders and internal/external clients, providing regular updates on project status and changes.
  • Clearly communicate project status, particularly during monthly project reviews.

What Makes You a Great Fit For Our Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Certification or training in project management is an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing technology product development projects.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong leadership, collaborative spirit, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Business acumen and sound judgment.
  • Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English, written and spoken.
  • Proficiency with MS Project.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
