Position Summary
We are seeking a client-focused and detail-oriented Account Manager to oversee key customer accounts and ensure smooth order fulfillment from initial inquiry to final delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building long-term client relationships, managing day-to-day sales orders, coordinating with internal departments, and supporting ongoing business development efforts. This role is crucial to providing excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced building materials environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, responding to inquiries and processing sales orders in a timely manner
• Build and nurture long-term client relationships by understanding their needs and ensuring consistent satisfaction
• Coordinate closely with the warehouse, logistics, and dispatch teams to monitor order status and ensure accurate, on-time delivery
• Assist with quoting, pricing, and product recommendations tailored to specific customer needs
• Manage client account documentation, including order records, invoices, and delivery confirmations
• Resolve customer issues or complaints efficiently and professionally
• Support the sales team with client follow-ups, after-sales service, and promotional initiatives
• Provide weekly updates on account activity and client feedback to management

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Customer Service, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years of account management or client-facing experience in Canada; experience in building materials or construction industry is a strong asset
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with inventory/order management systems is an asset
• Fluent in English; Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a strong asset due to our diverse customer base
• Responsible, proactive, and customer-service oriented, with a collaborative team spirit

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
