General Description
Domtar is a major player in the fiber industry and is actively committed to innovation and sustainable growth. We are looking for a passionate and meticulous Project Controller to support the management of our strategic projects and contribute to their success.
Responsibilities
- Ensure budget tracking, cost analysis, and financial performance of projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with project managers.
- Identify gaps between the plan and execution, propose corrective measures.
- Prepare regular reports on project progress (KPI, dashboards, etc.).
- Collaborate with finance, engineering, procurement, and project management teams.
- Ensure the application of best practices in project control and risk management.
Ideal Profile
- University degree in administration, engineering, finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project control or coordination.
- Proficiency in planning tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.) and financial analysis tools (advanced Excel, SAP).
- Excellent analytical skills, organizational sense, and rigor.
- Good communication skills in French and English.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
