What you will do:
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, both in person, over the phone, and through electronic messaging.
- Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle for their needs and budget.
- Demonstrate knowledge of vehicle features, specifications, and pricing.
- Coordinate test drives and accompany customers on test drives.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
For this role, come equipped with:
- Clean criminal record.
- Valid driver’s license.
- OMVIC certification.
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills..
- Organizational skills to manage multiple leads and follow-ups simultaneously.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building long-term relationships.

It all started in 1942 when Gordon Myers took over the original General Motors Dealership in Ottawa, located on Slater Street. As Ottawa grew, so did Myers, and we opened larger lots to accommodate the growing demand for reliable vehicle sales and service.
Today, we stand behind a solid reputation that we built the “hard way”: By attracting the best staff and the best customers, from one generation after another. Each owner has continued this commitment to Ottawa, from our founder and namesake to Hank Mews, who took the wheel in 1975, and his sons Harry and Rob, the current owners.
