THE ROLE
In this role you will report to the Vice President of Talent and work with a closely knit talent acquisition team thriving in a hyper growth environment. You will collaborate with a visionary-entrepreneur driven leadership team to lead full-cycle recruitment across a range of functions. Working with our various hiring leaders, you will develop clear expectations of roles, source and recruit qualified candidates and manage candidates through a structured interview process. You will help develop, establish, and implement high-impact recruitment strategies to identify best-in-class candidates.
Your previous experience will help you achieve success in completing end-to-end talent acquisition of key roles in our group of companies spanning health & wellness, technology, and CPG. You will take the lead on the recruitment process, from role definition to sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, through presenting candidates to hiring teams and negotiating offers. You will maintain accurate and efficient records of all materials used for recruitment to share with key stakeholders. This is a dynamic role, so you need to have the flexibility and proactiveness to deal with this fast-paced industry.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, from job requisition development to candidate onboarding.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications and behavioral competencies.
- Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to identify staffing needs and understand team dynamics.
- Foster positive candidate experiences by ensuring clear and transparent communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist in the coordination of new hire onboarding.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand organizational goals and develop strategic recruitment plans.
- Provide insights on market trends, talent availability, and competitive intelligence.
- Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top-tier candidates.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including LinkedIn, social media, job boards, networking, and industry events.
- Contribute to building and enhancing the employer brand to attract top talent.
- Communicate the company's values, culture, and unique opportunities to prospective candidates.
- Track recruitment metrics and create reports to assess the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts.
- Provide regular reports to leadership on recruitment progress, challenges, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop competitive job offers.
- Negotiate terms with candidates, ensuring alignment with both organizational and candidate expectations.
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of experience of full life cycle and in-house recruiting experience with references that attest to your outstanding ability
- 5+ years of experience working in-house across a multi-business company managing multiple roles across multiple functions (e.g. Venture Capital Firms, Private Equity, Holding Companies)
- 5+ years of experience recruiting key roles within the CPG industry with at least 2 years of experience within a highly regulated product category.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to effectively persuade, influence, and negotiate
- Startup or fast-growing company experience, proven experience of growing companies from early stage to mid-stage and beyond
- Strong experience sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter to generate a candidate pipeline
- Strong experience working with Smart Search ATS to house all candidate records, bonus points if you worked on enhancements to the ATS for your company’s specific recruiting requirements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, plan workflow, and take initiative
- Tech savvy (G-Suite, ATS, Microsoft Office, Recruiting Platforms, and Job Boards).
- Ability to communicate and understand the needs of hiring managers and be able to translate that into job descriptions and job searches
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
- Creative and strategic sourcing experience and examples
- Proven ability to close unique and hard to find roles
- Solid business acumen and executive presence to partner with internal and external stakeholders and work well under pressure
- Positive, personal, and professional image and high standards of professional behavior
- Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business keeping in line with the company’s values and culture
Compensation
You will be compensated with a strong base, and aggressive bonus plan based on profitability, positive cash flow and growth. You will receive options in companies across the operating portfolio including, in companies, with highly lucrative near term exit objectives.
