Role Overview
As a Sales Associate at Understance, you’ll be the face of the brand—creating a welcoming, supportive, and empowering in-store experience for every customer. From personalized bra fittings to thoughtful product recommendations, you’ll help customers feel confident and comfortable. Your role is key in bringing our values to life on the sales floor, and your insights will help us grow and improve every day.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist customers in-store and online with personalized measurements, product recommendations, and fit/sizing advice
· Maintain a well-organized, fully stocked store, ensuring timely merchandise requests and restocks, conducting weekly cycle counts, and performing light cleaning duties
· As a Keyholder, entrusting with the responsibility of opening and closing the store, ensuring that all security protocols are followed. This includes unlocking the store at the start of the day and securing it properly at the end of each shift, ensuring the safety of both the store and the team.
· Handle returns and exchanges with excellent attention to detail
· Support inventory control efforts to ensure accuracy and product availability
· Achieve sales goals through exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail or customer service. Experience in moderating online communities or customer interactions on digital platforms is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping people
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and reliable individual who consistently completes tasks on time
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, contributing to a positive and cohesive atmosphere. Ensuring effective communication, shared responsibilities, and exceptional customer service, all of which are essential to achieving our monthly sales goals.
Training and Assessment
You will receive 1-2 weeks of training following onboarding. You will need to pass a product knowledge and procedure assessment to complete training and be ready to start work. Base pay for the training period is $22 per hour. Once you pass the product knowledge and procedure assessment, base pay is $24 per hour.

8-hour shifts
