ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

Guelph, ON

We are currently looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our innovative, growing company which will be located in the Stone Road Mall to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, fun and professional work environment. The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager with organizing and running our retail stores when requested, and fills in for the Store Manager as required. Your responsibilities include notifying managers of hiring needs/floor coverage shortages; assisting with recruitment; understanding and helping to enforce all company policies, Employment Standards, Human Rights and employment laws. In addition, you will assist the Store Manager with overseeing the sales teams’ ability to meet or exceed their standards and targets on a regular basis, as well as meeting their goals of efficiency and customer satisfaction.

We’d Love to Hear from People With*:*

· At least 2 years of relevant retail sales experience preferably in a supervisory or lead role.

· Secondary school graduates or GED.

· Experience coaching and developing staff to optimize productivity and increase sales.

· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

· A positive attitude with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

· Outgoing, professional personality with the ability to build relationships quickly.

· Computer skills: POS system, Outlook, MS Office tools.

· Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

· A passionate and engaged brand ambassador.
