📍 Location: Downtown Toronto (100% Onsite – 5 Days/Week)

Business Systems Analyst – SaaS Implementation | Process Mapping | Stakeholder Management

Our client, a globally recognized enterprise in the financial sector, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support the implementation and integration of new software platforms within their Corporate Real Estate Technology program. This is a high-visibility 6-month contract role, with strong potential for extension, requiring full-time onsite work in downtown Toronto .

🔍 About the Role

The successful candidate will serve as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and third-party vendors, gathering and documenting requirements, assessing and mapping key business processes, and ensuring alignment of system functionality with business objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in business process analysis , SaaS implementations , and cross-functional collaboration .

💼 Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, assess, and document detailed business and system requirements.
  • Analyze and map key business processes to support system integration and optimization.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders across the business and with third-party vendors.
  • Prepare detailed documentation including process flows , user stories , and functional specifications .
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) , defect triage, and resolution tracking.
  • Assist with training documentation and change management activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers , QA Engineers , and Data Analysts to ensure successful delivery and adoption of new systems.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst , preferably in technology/system implementation projects.
  • Demonstrated success on complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and business-critical processes.
  • Strong experience with business process mapping , documentation, and requirements gathering.
  • Proven experience working with SaaS products and third-party software vendors.
  • Ability to manage individual goals and deadlines effectively.

🌟 Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Background in Information Technology or system implementation environments.
  • Exposure to data analytics and related tools.
  • Experience using Tableau or other data visualization tools .
  • A Business Analyst designation (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a strong asset.
