A large and complex organization, eHealth is comprised of 30+ clinical and non-clinical program (service) areas that all work together to support healthcare providers and teams across the province in delivering the best possible care to patients, providers, citizens, and health system users. Programs range from primary care to acute care, and include laboratories, pharmaceuticals, and diagnostics. Additional programs that support patient care and information include Virtual Care, MySaskHealthRecord, and the provincial Electronic Health Record. eHealth is also responsible for administering various pieces of legislation to manage the registration of/changes to all vital event records (e.g., birth, marriage, death), legal name changes, and adoptions, as well as maintaining the provincial health registry for health services eligibility and distribution of health services cards.
eHealth teams engage directly with health system partners and other stakeholders both provincially and federally to ensure all services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
About the Role: Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for improving IT service delivery? eHealth Saskatchewan is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our IT Service Management (ITSM) team within Operational Support Services (OSS). In this impactful role, you’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure IT services align with organizational strategy and customer needs.
Reporting to the Manager of IT Service Management, you’ll lead the development of business strategies, roadmaps, and business cases—translating complex challenges into actionable, effective solutions. You'll also play a key role in evolving ITSM processes across OSS teams, including Service Desk, ITOC, and Knowledge & Training.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead business analysis initiatives, including gathering and validating requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
- Manage projects and technology initiatives using strong process, systems, and business analysis expertise.
- Support the development and implementation of ITSM standards (e.g., backlog definitions, escalation frameworks, ticket handling).
- Collaborate with OSS teams to improve incident workflows, ServiceNow functionality, and knowledge management.
- Map current and future state processes to ensure alignment across business and technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to the ITSM Centre of Excellence by maintaining the CSI Register and supporting practice maturity in alignment with ITIL4.
- Use data and business intelligence tools to analyze performance, identify root causes, and recommend improvements.
- Produce high-quality documentation, including architectural diagrams, business cases, charters, and requirement documents.
What We’re Looking For:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a complex IT environment, including at least 3 years with ITSM tools.
- IIBA ECBA certification (Gold level) is an asset.
- Familiarity with BI platforms is an asset.
