The Opportunity This position works remotely in British Columbia in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division.

As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.

As the Regional Sales Manager for Western Canada, you’ll have the chance to drive sales performance and support revenue growth across the region. This role ensures alignment with overall business objectives and enhances our market position by achieving and exceeding sales targets.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead development and execution of a regional strategy aligned with country-level objectives to grow sales and profit, ensuring regional operating plans meet defined targets.
  • Build and lead a high-performance sales team by selecting, training, coaching, and developing individuals, while optimizing CRM resources as agreed with the Country Manager.
  • Communicate the regional vision and objectives clearly, fostering collaboration and teamwork across divisions to contribute to overall country business targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, hospital systems, and healthcare providers, to drive business growth and strengthen CRM presence.
  • Collaborate with country departments to ensure operational integrity, compliance with CRM business practices, and adherence to all legislative, clinical, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide accurate and timely regional forecasts, business reports, and updates to the Country Manager to support informed decision-making.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and maintain competitive advantage in the region.
  • Role model CRM values in all activities, ensuring a positive customer perception of the Abbott CRM brand and upholding the company’s reputation.

Required Qualifications

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience years a similar role, in Tachycardia/Bradycardia, Cardiac Surgery, and Cardiovascular product areas or a related discipline, including direct experience in pacemaker or related product sales.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales results and over plan performance.
  • Travel 50%.
