What you will do:
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of new platforms.
- Document and/or map business processes and procedures.
- Gather and analyze software’s process flows and assist with modifying to align with business processes and workflows.
- Perform data migration and entry.
- Perform system testing and remediation.
- Use data modelling techniques to identify effective operational efficiencies.
- Design business intelligence reports.
- Assess and advise on new technology and systems to provide data analysis and reporting required by management.
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and collaborate with developers to implement solutions.
- Support, engage and coach staff throughout change management process.
- Provide user training and ongoing support to ensure smooth operation and alignment with business goals.
Job Specifications:
- 2-5 years of related experience in Business Analysis preferred.
- Must have a positive attitude towards construction health & safety and continuous improvement.
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related program.
- Education and experience in accounting and finance an asset.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and project management processes.
- Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Expert in excel macros, pivot tables, complex formulas and PowerBi.
- Experience with data modelling and creating process workflows.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be detail orientated and have problem solving skills.
- Experience with financial reporting.
- Experience with Microsoft Automation software an asset.
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
- Problem solving and root-cause identification skills.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 months
